In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act, B.E.2562 (2019) (hereinafter referred to as “PDPA”), this is the Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “Privacy Policy”) of PASCO (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

This Privacy Policy shall be noticed and applied to each individual person who is our customer or from our business partners (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “your”).

The Company notices this Privacy Policy to you to collect, use and disclose your personal data (hereinafter referred to as “ Personal Data”) in accordance with Article 24(3) (for the performance of a contract or entering into a contract.) and Article 24(5) (necessary for legitimate interest) of the PDPA.

Article 1. Personal Data to be collected

The Company may collect personally identifiable data, such as, name and surname, nickname, e-mail address, ID card, telephone number, sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, marital status, educational history, working experience, ability of language, photo, blood type, driving license, military status, image of Company`s CCTV and current address.

Article 2. Purposes of Collection of the Personal Data

2.1 The Company strongly respects your privacy and assures that your Personal Data will be kept securely according to this Privacy Policy. As Personal Data deems to be sensitive and changeable, the Company will not use any of your Personal Data beyond the scope of the purposes of use without your additional consent. Your collected Personal Data shall be used for the following purposes.

To conduct job interview of candidates. name and surname, nickname, telephone number, ID card, email address, current address, sex, age, date of birth, place of birth, marital status, educational history, working experience, ability of language, photo, blood type, driving license, and military status.
To protect the company's property and secure the safety Image of Company`s CCTV.

2.2 The Company may consider changing the purpose of use stated in the preceding paragraph to the extent that such change is deemed to be reasonably related to the original purpose of use. The change will be considered when it conforms to your benefit in general, or it does not violate the purpose of Privacy Policy and it is reasonable. In this regard, the Company shall notify you of the change.

2.3 The Personal Data specified in above Article 2.1 are necessary to the Company to accomplish the purposes as stated above. In case you do not provide all or any of the required Personal Data or do not allow the Company to process the Personal Data accordingly, the Company may not be able to keep your record of Personal Data, thus affecting the Company’s ability to accomplish the above stated purposes.

Article 3. Retention Period of Personal Data

The Personal Data which the Company acquired will be retained in the Company as long as it is required for the above-mentioned purposes and for a period of one (1) year from the date that the purposes were accomplished. However, the retention period may be extended in the event that it is required by laws and regulations.

In order to protect the Personal Data, the Company will take appropriate security measures to retain it through the period of retention.

Article 4. Provision the Personal Data to the Third Party

4.1 In principle, the Company will not provide any Personal Data to any third parties other than the purpose and third parties we mention in this Privacy Policy.

4.2 However, in the following circumstances, the Personal Data may be provided to the third party without your consent to the extent that such provision does not violate any applicable laws and regulations.

  1. Based on laws and regulations;
  2. When it is necessary to protect the life, body or property of an individual and consent from you is difficult to be obtained;
  3. When it is necessary for compliance with a law to achieve the purposes with respect to public interest in public health, such as, protecting against cross-border dangerous contagious disease or epidemics which may be contagious or pestilent;
  4. When it is necessary to cooperate with government agencies, local public bodies, or any agents thereof, in executing the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining your consent is likely to impede the execution of the affairs concerned;

In addition, in the case where it is necessary, the collected Personal Data may be transferred to the parent or affiliate company located in Japan or other organization located in other countries and that destination countries may not provide the adequate data protection standard to the PDPA of Thailand.

Article 5. The Rights of Data Subject

In accordance with the PDPA, the Company hereby declares your rights as a data subject as follows.

  1. The right to access your own Personal Data.
  2. The right to obtain copies of your own Personal Data.
  3. The right to request deletion or suspension of use of your own Personal Data.
  4. The right to modify your own Personal Data or request the Personal Data to be updated.
  5. The right to revoke your consent in relation to Personal Data provided to the Company under the consent basis.
  6. The right to object the collection, use, or disclosure of your own Personal Data, at any time.
  7. The right to be notified if your Personal Data is at risk.
  8. The right to file a complaint in the event that the Company violates or does not comply with the PDPA.

Article 7. Changes and Revisions

The Company may change or revise this Privacy Policy as necessary. In the event of any change or revision, such change or revision will be notified to you through our website.

Article 8. Languages

This Privacy Policy shall be concluded in English. Thai language translation of this Privacy Policy is provided for reference only, and shall have no binding effect.
