OrthoMaster is INPHO’s advanced software for rigorous orthorectification of digital imagery. It offers high degree of processing automation and is optimized for high performance orthophoto production.

OrthoMaster generates high quality orthophotos, i.e. digital images with constant scale, using digital aerial images, image orientation data and digital terrain models (DTMs) as the source data. OrthoMaster can process both, single images and complete blocks of aerial images.

The rigorous differential rectification process is performed fully automatically. In case there is no DTM available, rectification to a plane is also possible. If required, OrthoMaster can generate the DTM internally, as well, from a set of ASCII data, i.e. arbitrarily distributed XYZ points and break lines.

OrthoMaster can generate true orthophotos and photo mosaics in combination with the OrthoVista software. All man-made 3D objects (e.g. buildings and bridges), which are not integrated in the DTM, will cause relief displacements in the resulting imagery after performing a regular orthorectification only. OrthoMaster effectively eliminates the relief displacements by intersecting the 3D object data, if available, with the basic DTM, and utilizing advanced computation algorithms for generating true orthophotos of highest geometric quality.
