MATCH-T

MATCH-T is inpho's complete and highly automated DTM generation environment applying inpho-based image processing techniques. The DTM is interpolated from an extremely dense cloud of automatically derived 3D points. Block-wide operation and stereoscopic DTM editing with Capture Contours running on Summit Evolution from DAT/EM are the new major components of MATCH-T. A vast variety of organizations from all over the world already rely on inpho's experience in automatic DTM generation as well as several product integrators with MATCH-T as part of their photogrammetric workstations.
DAT/EM is member of the new GeoToolBox Team, initiated by inpho.

Features
  • Features Capture Contours and Summit Evolution for 3D visualization and editing
    • stereoscopic pre-processing, e.g. breakline and cut-out area capturing
    • DTM editing capability
    • stereoscopic post-processing, e.g. quality control, elevation shifting
  • extremely dense DTM by using feature-based matching techniques
  • automatic adaptive DTM grid width depending on the surface curvature
  • handling of poorly textured areas by auto-optimization of adaptive parameter settings
  • elimination of outliers, e.g. trees, houses, by robust finite element interpolation
  • internal quality control
  • consideration of pre-measured morphological data (breaklines, exclusion areas, borderlines)
  • several DTM exchange formats
  • automatic interior orientation
    • reduces human operator interactions
    • automatic detection of fiducial marks (RMK, LMK and LEICA)
  • on-line epipolar image patches and on-line interest data on-demand
    • no extra iterative processing step
    • necessary disk capacity reduced, no intermediate storage
    • more efficient parameter definition
Option
  • block-wide homogeneous DTM. No more hazzle with combining modelwise generated DTMs.
    • model gaps are eliminated
    • weakly defined elevations along single model borders are minimized
    • multiple model overlap minimizes occlusions
    • automatic best geometry model selection
Benefits
  • fully automatic block-wide DTM generation with integrated stereo DTM-editing
  • high DTM reliability due to an extremely dense point cloud
  • short computation times on today's workstations
  • simple intuitive user interface
  • block operation eases use of auto-tools, e.g. reduces individual model-based parameter setup.
Recommendation
  • Pentium III 500 MHz
  • min. 128 KByte RAM
  • min. 1Gbyte free disk space per image pair
  • supported platforms Windows NT 4.0, SGI Irix 6.x and higher
